What happens right after I start my build?
Your order comes straight to our team. We review it, reach out if anything looks off, and get each piece moving toward you. Your Carl's Place enclosure is made to order — it goes into production within a business day. Launch monitors, projectors, and most accessories are pulled from our distribution partners and ship within 1–5 business days.
When will everything ship?
Lead times vary by item and are listed above. In-stock gear (most launch monitors, projectors, mats) ships within 1–5 business days. Your custom enclosure is built to order and typically ships within 5–9 business days. The ProTee VX is an exception — it's on a 4+ week lead time from the manufacturer.
Do I get one box or multiple shipments?
Each piece ships as it's ready, from our series of distribution facilities. You'll get tracking info for each item as it heads your way — most customers see everything arrive within a couple weeks. Your enclosure is the long pole because it's made to order just for you.
What if I need help during setup?
Call or text (770) 766-5571 or email support@golfsimdepot.com. We've walked customers through hundreds of setups — projector mounting, screen tensioning, software calibration. Send us a photo of where you're stuck and we'll work through it.
Can I return something if it doesn't work out?
Most items can be returned within 30 days in new, unused condition. Manufacturer return rules apply — some products (like the ProTee VX) are non-returnable per the vendor, and restocking fees or return shipping costs may apply. What's the warranty situation?
Each item is covered by its manufacturer's warranty — typically 1–2 years. SurfThing PCs include a two-year warranty plus free setup assistance. We'll help you submit a warranty claim if something ever goes sideways.
Can you help pick a PC for my simulator?
Absolutely. The SurfThing PCs in the builder are pre-configured for launch monitor software and 4K projectors — we spec'd them ourselves. If you've got your own PC and want to check compatibility, send us your specs and we'll sanity-check it against your launch monitor's requirements.
Is GSPro (or another software) required?
You need some simulator software to play, but it doesn't have to be GSPro. Most launch monitors also support manufacturer apps (R50 → Garmin Golf, MLM2Pro → Rapsodo app, etc.) that are free or cheaper. GSPro is the premium option with the best courses and online play.
