- Pipe Framing Kit (Recommended): Pre-cut 1" EMT pipes sized for your enclosure. Skip the hardware store — arrives ready to assemble. Note: Pipes are NOT included in the base kit.
- Foam Insert Kit (Recommended): Foam padding covers the exposed pipe frame, protecting you and the enclosure from errant shots.
- Safety Baffle (Recommended): Ceiling-mounted panel catches high-angle wedge shots before they bounce back.
- Back Cover Kit: Wraps the rear of the enclosure to block ambient light and prevent projector light from leaking out.
- Back Cover Pipe Kit: Provides the frame for the back cover — or we'll tell you exactly what pipes to source locally.

Installation
ProTee VX Mounting
- Locate ceiling joists at the correct distance from ball position (3'4" at 9' ceiling, 3'7" at 10' ceiling)
- Install mounting plate with included screws
- Snap VX unit into mounting plate
- Run Cat6 cable to PC
- Connect power and USB adapter
- Calibrate using included calibration board
Carl's Place Enclosure Assembly
- Assemble steel frame using corner fittings and 1" EMT pipe (Pipe Framing Kit or source locally)
- Attach black nylon enclosure surround
- Install impact screen using zip ties and ball bungees
- Secure bottom cable for screen tension
- Add optional accessories (foam inserts, safety baffle, back cover, net extensions)

Warranty & Returns
ProTee VX: 1-year limited warranty. All sales are final — no returns or refunds per manufacturer policy. Please confirm ceiling height, room dimensions, and PC specs before purchasing.
Carl's Place Enclosure: 1-year warranty from manufacturing defects (domestic use). Impact screens are consumables — use clean balls and attach Velcro border protection before use.
BenQ Projector: Standard BenQ warranty applies.
GSPro: Digital software — non-refundable after code redemption.

Is the ProTee VX better than floor-based launch monitors?

Do I need club stickers or special balls?
No. The ProTee VX tracks everything without requiring stickers on your clubs or marked balls. Use your own equipment as-is.
Is there a subscription fee?
No. ProTee Labs software includes a perpetual license — no annual fees. This package also includes 1 year of GSPro. After the first year, you can renew GSPro or continue using ProTee Labs at no additional cost.
What ceiling height do I need?

Which impact screen should I choose?
Preferred is the best value for most home setups. Premium offers the best image quality and longest lifespan. High-Contrast Gray is ideal for rooms with windows or ambient light. Skip Standard unless budget is the primary driver.
Do I need the Pipe Framing Kit?
You need pipes — either the pre-cut kit or 1" EMT from your local hardware store. The kit saves time and eliminates measuring. If you source locally, we provide exact lengths and quantities.
Can I upgrade the projector later?
Yes. The BenQ TH671ST is a solid starting point, but you can swap in a brighter or 4K projector anytime. Universal ceiling mounts work with all the projector options in this package.
What if I already have a GSPro account?
The included GSPro code is only valid for new accounts. If you already have GSPro, let us know so we can reserve the code for eligible customers.
Can I add a golf mat later?
Yes. The mat is optional in this package. You can add one now or purchase separately later. We recommend the SIGPRO Softy for joint-friendly practice or the HotShot series for budget-friendly durability.
What if none of the enclosure sizes fit my room?
