SIGPRO Premier - Golf Simulator Impact Screen
The Gray Screen Solution for Bright Rooms. Same Premium Construction. Better Contrast Where It Matters.
The SIGPRO Premier Golf Impact Screen takes everything that makes the SIGPRO Premium the top-performing screen in independent testing — and adds a gray surface engineered for rooms where ambient light is unavoidable. The result: deeper blacks, improved contrast, and reduced washout in garages, basements, and commercial spaces that can't be fully darkened.
Built from the same three-layer spacer mesh fabric as the SIGPRO Premium — two heavy-duty polyester surfaces sandwiching vertical spacer yarns — the Premier delivers identical performance in durability, bounce-back, and noise reduction. The gray color absorbs ambient light instead of reflecting it, maintaining image quality in conditions that would wash out a white screen.
If your simulator space has windows, overhead lights, or simply can't be blacked out, the Premier is your screen.
Key Benefits
✔ Improved Contrast in Bright Rooms
Gray screens absorb ambient light, maintaining deeper blacks and preventing image washout. The projected image stays crisp and vibrant even in partially lit spaces.
✔ Reduced Washout
By absorbing rather than reflecting ambient light, the Premier minimizes light bouncing off the screen surface. The result is a clearer, more defined image with better shadow detail.
✔ Negative Gain for Better Contrast
The gray surface reduces screen brightness while increasing the contrast ratio of the projected image. In rooms with ambient light, this tradeoff produces superior perceived image quality.
✔ Same Premium Three-Layer Construction
Identical to the MyGolfSpy-tested SIGPRO Premium — two heavy-duty, tight-knit polyester surfaces sandwiching vertical spacer yarns. Same durability, same bounce-back reduction, same noise dampening.
✔ Quieter Operation
Vertical spacer yarns act as cushioning, dampening the noise from ball strikes. Noticeably quieter than single-layer screens.
✔ Reduced Bounce-Back
The interior spacer yarns absorb impact energy, resulting in significantly lower ball rebound. The ball drops instead of flying back at the golfer.
✔ Extended Lifespan
The smooth surface decreases ball spin time on impact, reducing wear and extending screen life. Built to withstand thousands of shots at up to 250 MPH.
✔ 4K Compatible
Clear, crisp image quality up to 4K resolution with minimal bleed-through and no grain effect or pixelation.
✔ 1-Year Warranty
Full 1-year warranty for residential use covers rips and tears from normal golf ball strikes.
Who Is This For?
✅ Garage simulators with windows that let in daylight
✅ Basement builds with recessed lighting that can't be fully dimmed
✅ Commercial installations — sports bars, golf studios, entertainment venues with uncontrolled lighting
✅ Multi-purpose rooms where blackout conditions aren't practical
✅ Builders who want SIGPRO Premium performance in a bright environment
✅ Golfers using high-lumen projectors (3,000+ lumens) in partially lit spaces
✅ Anyone frustrated by washed-out images on white screens in ambient light
Premier (Gray) vs. Premium (White): Which One?
Both screens use identical three-layer construction. The only difference is color — and that difference matters based on your room conditions.
Choose the Premier (Gray) when:
- Your room has windows that let in daylight
- You have overhead lights you can't fully dim
- You're building in a commercial space with variable lighting
- Your projector has high lumen output (3,000+ lumens)
- You've tried a white screen and the image looks washed out
Choose the Premium (White) when:
- Your room can be fully darkened
- You're using a lower-lumen projector (under 2,500 lumens)
- Maximum brightness is more important than contrast
- You have complete control over ambient light
Bottom line: In a dark room, white is brighter. In a bright room, gray looks better. The Premier exists to solve the ambient light problem that plagues most garage and basement builds.

Installation Guidelines
Mounting Your Screen
- Use 6" ball bungees (recommended for SIGPRO enclosures) or 9" bungees for more slack
- Zip ties and shock cord also work for DIY installations
- The heavy-duty Velcro perimeter allows attachment of gap pads, blackout fabric, netting, and frame padding
Projector Considerations for Gray Screens
- Gray screens work best with high-lumen projectors (3,000+ lumens recommended)
- The gray surface absorbs some projector light along with ambient light — higher lumens compensate
- In fully dark rooms, a white screen may look brighter; gray is optimized for mixed lighting conditions
Rear Clearance
- Maintain 12-16" of space between the screen and any wall or surface behind it
- This allows the screen to flex on impact and absorb energy properly
CRITICAL: Memory Foam and Weighted Blankets
- If you place memory foam or weighted blankets behind the screen, you must ensure sufficient gap
- Materials touching or too close to the screen concentrate impact at the strike point instead of distributing it
- This causes rapid wear and premature screen failure — and voids your warranty
Care & Maintenance
- Use clean golf balls — dirt, grass, and marker ink transfer permanently onto the screen at impact speed
- Clean your golf balls before every session to preserve image quality
- Clean clubs regularly to prevent debris transfer
- Store in a dry, clean area when not in use
Compatibility
The SIGPRO Premier is designed to work with:
- SIGPRO Enclosures: SIG8, SIG10, SIG12, and Commercial enclosures — screen sizes match enclosure dimensions
- DIY Builds: Grommets and Velcro perimeter make standalone installation easy
- Third-Party Enclosures: Compatible with any frame or truss system using bungees or shock cord

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the SIGPRO Premier and the SIGPRO Premium?
The construction is identical — same three-layer spacer mesh fabric, same performance characteristics. The only difference is color. The Premium is white for dark rooms; the Premier is gray for bright rooms. Choose based on your ambient light conditions.
Do I need a gray screen?
If your simulator is in a room with windows, overhead lights you can't fully dim, or any other source of ambient light, a gray screen will deliver better image quality than white. If you can fully darken your room, white will be brighter.
Will the gray screen look darker than white?
In a fully dark room, yes — gray absorbs some of the projector's light. But in a room with ambient light, gray actually looks better because it rejects that ambient light while a white screen reflects it, washing out the image. The tradeoff is worth it in bright conditions.
What projector lumens do I need for the Premier?
We recommend 3,000+ lumens for best results with gray screens. The higher output compensates for the light absorption of the gray surface while still benefiting from the ambient light rejection.
Is the Premier more durable than the Premium?
They're identical in durability. Same three-layer construction, same materials, same testing to 250 MPH. The only difference is the gray color.
Is this good for commercial use?
Yes. The Premier is ideal for sports bars, golf studios, entertainment venues, and any commercial space with variable or uncontrolled lighting. Commercial-specific sizes are available.
Does the Premier work with SIGPRO enclosures?
Yes. Specific screen sizes are designed to match SIG8, SIG10, SIG12, and Commercial enclosures. The Premier is a direct replacement for the Premium screen in any SIGPRO setup.
Can I upgrade from a Premium (white) to a Premier (gray)?
Yes. If you already have a SIGPRO enclosure with a white screen and you're experiencing washout from ambient light, the Premier is a drop-in upgrade in the same size.
How does this compare to the Carl's Place High Contrast Gray?
Both are gray screens designed for bright rooms. The SIGPRO Premier uses the same three-layer spacer mesh construction that outperformed competitors in MyGolfSpy testing. Carl's High Contrast Gray uses three-layer polyester but different construction. Both are excellent options; the choice may come down to size availability, pricing, or brand preference.
How long does shipping take?
Ships within 10-12 business days to the lower 48 states. Free shipping included.
What if I find a better price?
Shop Indoor Golf offers a price match guarantee. If you find the same size and type of gray screen at a lower price, contact them to match it.
