SkyTrak ST MAX Golf Simulator - SIG12 Complete Package
The Biggest Screen in the SIG Lineup. Dual Radar + Camera Accuracy. GOLFTEC Speed Training Included.
The SkyTrak ST MAX Golf Simulator Bundle — SIG12 is the flagship configuration: SkyTrak's most advanced launch monitor paired with the SIG12 Golf Simulator Studio — the largest enclosure in The Indoor Golf Shop's Signature Series. The SIG12's 14'3" diagonal, 4:3 screen fills 100% of the projected image with no letterboxing, and its 9'4" tall frame gives taller golfers and high-swing players the most overhead clearance in the SIG lineup.
The ST MAX brings hybrid dual Doppler radar and photometric camera tracking delivering 14 ball and club data points with no stickers and no special balls. Its exclusive Speed Training powered by GOLFTEC turns this bundle into a structured distance development program on top of a world-class simulator. And with native Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android, and Windows support, it works on whatever you're already using.
This bundle requires a minimum 10' ceiling. If your space qualifies, select your mat and projector at checkout — everything else is included.

Hitting Mat Options
Select your hitting surface at checkout. The ST MAX is floor-mounted beside the ball position using a laser dot for alignment. The SIG12's 12'2" width provides the most generous lateral clearance in the SIG Series for the floor unit alongside any mat option.
| Mat Option | Size | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Fairway Series | 5' × 5' | Realistic turf feel, accepts real tees. The SIG12's wide bay gives plenty of room for the ST MAX beside the mat edge. |
| SIGPRO Softy | 4' × 7' | Recommended for floor-mounted monitors. Larger footprint keeps the unit stable and level alongside the hitting area. Soft foam backing easy on joints. |
| SIGPRO Softy | 4' × 10' | Double-sided with center tee — one side right-handed, one left-handed. The SIG12's width makes this the most comfortable left/right mat setup in the SIG Series. Flip the mat and reposition the ST MAX for the other player. |
| Simulator Flooring | Integrated | Premium DIY look with integrated hitting strip and putting green (4 cup positions). The ST MAX's putting detection (up to 30 yards) works within the bay. |
Projector Options
The ST MAX connects to simulator software via Wi-Fi. To take full advantage of the SIG12's 14'3" diagonal screen, a short-throw projector is strongly recommended. At this screen size, the difference between 1080p and 4K is most visible — a 4K projector is worth serious consideration.
The SIG12 has a 4:3 aspect ratio producing 100% image fill — no letterboxing, no wasted screen area.
| Model | Resolution | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| TH671ST | 1080p Full HD | Short Throw | Entry-level HD. Functional for the SIG12; 4K is noticeably better at this screen size. |
| AH30ST | 1080p Full HD | Short Throw | HD short throw with higher brightness. Good if staying with 1080p. |
| TK710STi | 4K UHD | Short Throw | 4K short throw — meaningful upgrade on a 14'3" screen. Sharper course visuals across the full image. |
| AH700ST | 4K UHD | Short Throw | 4K short throw with high lumen output. Solid in rooms with ambient light. |
| LK830ST | 4K UHD | 4K Short Throw | 4K with strong brightness — excellent for larger rooms or mixed-light environments. |
| AK700ST | 4K UHD | 4K Short Throw | High-lumen 4K short throw. A top recommendation for the SIG12 — matches the screen's scale. |
| LK936ST | 4K UHD | 4K Laser Short Throw | Top-tier laser projection. Best brightness, longest lamp life, best color accuracy. The premium choice for the SIG12's full-size screen. |
| No Projector | — | — | Use your own projector. Ensure it is short-throw compatible with your room depth. |

Space & Setup Requirements
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum Room Width | 13' (enclosure is 12'2" wide) |
| Minimum Ceiling Height | 10' — the SIG12 is 9'4" tall and requires 10'+ for swing clearance. The ST MAX requires a minimum of 8.5' — easily satisfied within the SIG12's 10' requirement. |
| Recommended Ceiling Height | 10'6"–11' for maximum comfort and full swing clearance |
| Room Depth Required | 5' for enclosure + hitting mat + swing clearance (typically 13–16' total room depth recommended) |
| ST MAX Placement | Floor-mounted to the side of the ball position. Uses integrated laser dot for precise alignment. The SIG12's wide bay provides the most lateral clearance in the SIG Series. |
| Clearance Behind Screen | Leave at least 6–12" behind the impact screen for ball flex — do not mount flush to a wall |
| Connectivity | Wi-Fi — ensure reliable router coverage in your simulator space |
| ST MAX Setup Time | Under 10 minutes — position, connect to Wi-Fi, align with laser, start hitting |
| SIG12 Assembly Time | Approximately 1–2 hours with two people |
Important — Ceiling Height: The SIG12 requires a minimum 10' ceiling. Please confirm your finished floor-to-ceiling measurement before ordering. Ceilings of 10'6" or higher are ideal. The ST MAX's 8.5' ceiling minimum is well within the SIG12's requirement — no ceiling conflict between the two components.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special balls or club stickers?
No. The ST MAX works with any clean, quality golf ball. No stickers, no marked balls required.
What ceiling height does the SIG12 require?
A minimum of 10' ceiling height is required for the SIG12. The ST MAX requires
only 8.5' — well within the SIG12's requirement. Please confirm your finished floor-to-ceiling
measurement before ordering. Ceilings of 10'6" or higher are ideal.
Is a membership required?
A 14-day trial is included. After the trial, the Essential Plan at $129.99/yr
is recommended to access Shot Optimizer, Bag Mapping, Skills Assessments, Speed Training, and
other key features. Course play requires a Core or Elite plan.
Does the ST MAX work with GSPro?
Yes, via community-built APIs available through the GSPro Discord community. Widely used and
works well, but not an official SkyTrak integration. GSPro requires its own subscription (~$250/yr).
Does it work on Mac?
Yes — SkyTrak provides first-party native macOS support, unique among major launch monitor brands.
Also works natively on Windows, iPad, iPhone, and Android.
Does the SIG12 produce full-screen projection?
Yes. The SIG12's 4:3 aspect ratio fills 100% of the projected image — no letterboxing, no
black bars. The 14'3" diagonal is the largest screen in the SIG Series.
Is a 4K projector worth it for the SIG12?
Yes — more so than with any other SIG enclosure. At 14'3" diagonal the improvement in image
sharpness is clearly visible. The AK700ST or LK936ST are strong matches for this screen size.
Can left- and right-handed players use this setup?
Yes. The SIG12 fits the 4'×10' double-sided mat for alternating tee positions at mat level.
When switching players, reposition the ST MAX to the correct side and realign using the laser dot.
What is Speed Training and is it included?
Speed Training powered by GOLFTEC is exclusive to the ST MAX. It's accessible in the
Essential Plan and above — included during your 14-day trial, then requires a membership.
What's the warranty on the ST MAX?
The ST MAX carries a 6-month warranty or 25,000 shots (whichever comes first),
plus a 30-day satisfaction guarantee from SkyTrak. The SIG12 Studio is covered under The Indoor
Golf Shop's standard warranty. Contact Golf Sim Depot at (770) 766-5571 with any questions.
Does the ST MAX measure Angle of Attack or Dynamic Loft?
No. Contact us at (770) 766-5571 if these metrics are important to your practice and we'll help
identify the right monitor.
Does the bundle include a projector?
A projector is optional — select at checkout or choose "No Projector." The ST MAX connects
via Wi-Fi independently of projector selection.
Does the ST MAX detect putting?
Yes — up to 30 yards, compatible with the SIG12 Simulator Flooring option's integrated
putting green.
