Hitting Mat Options

Select your hitting surface at checkout. Because VTrack is ceiling-mounted, any mat option works without clearance concerns for a floor unit.

Note: The SIG8 is not wide enough to accommodate the 4' × 10' double-sided mat. If you need left/right-handed center-tee switching via mat (rather than via the VTrack's built-in seamless switching), consider the SIG10 or SIG12 bundle.

Projector Options

A projector is not required to use VTrack — you can use the VTrack ToolKit on a standard monitor or TV. However, for the full simulator experience on the SIG8 screen, a short-throw projector is strongly recommended.

Select your projector at checkout. The SIG8 screen has a 1:1 aspect ratio, which results in approximately 80% image fill with slight letterboxing (black bars above and below) when using a standard 16:9 projector output. This is normal and expected for the SIG8.

Projector Tip: VTrack mounts to the ceiling 36–42" in front of the ball. When planning your ceiling mount, leave room for both the VTrack unit and your projector mount side by side. VTrack's compact form factor (12.5" H × 6.5" W × 4.5" D) coexists easily with ceiling projector mounts in most simulator setups.

Space & Installation Requirements

Ceiling Layout Tip: VTrack's compact form factor (12.5" H × 6.5" W × 4.5" D) allows it to share ceiling space comfortably with a projector mount. Plan your ceiling layout before drilling — the launch monitor goes 36–42" in front of the ball position, while your projector mount typically goes further back toward the golfer.

Assembly

VTrack Installation (Under 30 Minutes):

1. Mount the ceiling bracket 36–42" in front of ball position, 8.5–10' above hitting surface
2. Attach VTrack unit to bracket and connect USB 3.0 cable to PC
3. Install VTrack software and run the 2-step auto-calibration
4. Start hitting

SIG8 Enclosure Assembly (Approx. 1–2 Hours with Two People):

1. Assemble frame using color-coded poles and push-pin connectors
2. Attach vinyl SIG Surround to frame
3. Mount SIGPRO Premium screen using included ball bungees

SIG8 vs. SIG10 vs. SIG12 — Which Enclosure Is Right for You?

Choose this SIG8 bundle if your room is under 10' wide or if minimizing your footprint is the priority. VTrack's built-in seamless left/right-handed support means you don't need a wider enclosure for two-handed households — the hitting zone handles it.

Choose SIG10 or SIG12 if you have more room and want 100% image fill with no letterboxing, or if you prefer a 4:3 screen ratio for a more immersive visual experience. VTrack bundles are available for all three enclosure sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does VTrack require club stickers or special balls?
No. VTrack uses markerless tracking — just use any standard golf ball and your regular clubs. No stickers, no reflective dots, no proprietary balls required.

What ceiling height do I need for this bundle?
A minimum of 9' ceiling height is required for comfortable full swings in the SIG8 (which is 8'4" tall). This also falls within VTrack's optimal mounting range of 8.5–10'. Both requirements are satisfied at 9'+.

Does the bundle include a projector?
A projector is optional — select your preferred model at checkout, or choose "No Projector" if you already own one or plan to use a TV/monitor. VTrack operates independently of the projector for data capture.

What simulator software can I use?
VTrack integrates natively with GSPro, E6 Connect, E6 Apex, and TGC 2019. VTrack does not charge a connector fee. Third-party software licenses are sold separately.

Can left- and right-handed players both use VTrack?
Yes. VTrack's large 31" × 24" hitting zone supports both without any repositioning or reconfiguration. It's one of the key advantages of the overhead design in shared simulator spaces.

Why does the SIG8 screen only fill 80% of the image?
The SIG8 screen has a 1:1 (square) aspect ratio, while most projectors output a 16:9 image. This results in slight letterboxing (black bars) above and below. The SIG10 and SIG12 use 4:3 screens that fill 100% of the projected image. The SIG8's letterboxing is cosmetic and does not affect gameplay.

Can I mount VTrack and a projector on the same ceiling?
Yes. VTrack's compact dimensions (12.5" H × 6.5" W × 4.5" D) allow it to share ceiling space comfortably with a projector mount. Plan your ceiling layout before installing — the launch monitor sits 36–42" in front of the ball, while the projector typically mounts further behind.

Can I upgrade the screen to the SIGPRO Premier (Gray) version?
Yes. If your simulator space has windows or significant ambient light, the SIGPRO Premier (Gray) screen is available as an upgrade for improved contrast and reduced washout. Contact us to configure this option.

Do I need a PC? Can I use a Mac?
VTrack requires a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Mac is not currently supported. If your current PC runs GSPro or E6 smoothly, it will run VTrack. Recommended specs: Intel i5/i7 10th gen+, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3070+, USB 3.0.
