This our first launch monitor. We set it up in the garage with a net and it works great. Seems to be accurate and my sons have been playing a couple hrs per day. We are thinking about adding a screen and a projector. A few connection issues and it drains the battery on my phone. Hoping it isn't difficult to hook up to a computer and projector so we can keep it connected permanently
When it was discovered that delivery would be longer than expected from manufacturer, Kyle contacted me and began doing everything he could to get it delivered as quickly as possible. He is a great guy to do business with. I highly recommend using him for your golf simulator needs.
Product is really well made. The quality is there. It is my first time using this particular brand and model (carls hot shot) so I figured the quality was going to be good! 2 issues that I will report back on but did not see many people talk about-
1- it is super thick and pretty squishy. It feels like standing on a trampoline. Not bad or good, but you will need to prepare for that, but you get used to it fast.
2- the hitting strip is super grabby. I am saying this after only hitting on it for 2 days so maybe it will start to give a bit. I think it will. But right out of the box it is very touchy.
In the end, it looks excellent, and feels like a quality product. I think once I put some miles on it it will be a top product!
I had a small window of time to get my projector and install it before the holidays. When all the others said it it couldn't be done Kyle at Golf Sim Depot went out of his way and got it to me at the best price! You can count on friendly and very helpful service from his shop.
Well reviewed mat, probably the best one out there. Great service from Kyle. Easy communication via email or phone. I had not heard of them before so I checked out trustpilot…great rating there. So I took the leap and purchased this as well as a BenQ 710 Sti projector and the SIG10 enclosure. All arrived sooner than expected with clear communications throughout. I checked out a lot of retailers and these guys gave me the best price as well.

First, I have to mention how great the customer service team is. They were answering my questions before I had even made a purchase. Thank you very much.
Second, the ProTee VX was imported from out of the US, and was still delivered faster than some products that I have delivered from a few towns away through other suppliers.
I have not had a chance to install the unit in my simulator room yet, but did a lot of investigation before I made my purchase, and I know that I made the right decision. Plus, I have already played with the ProTee at a friends house, so I have enough experience to give this review:
I feel like this unit is only getting started in terms of development, even though it has come so far already. The team is constantly improving it. The updates to the launch monitor and software are frequent, and the change log can be found on the manufacturers website. This unit doesn’t require a subscription to use, which is the first thing that I looked for when I was getting ready to make a purchase. It also doesn’t cost extra to connect to my current simulator software. It could still have a one time fee to connect to True Golf and E6, but I’m not sure because I don’t use or intend to use either of those products. My friend and I use it with GSPro. I love how accurate the ball and club data is, and how quickly the unit outputs the data. It’s like I’m playing real golf. I’ve have had the opportunity to try many other launch monitors. This one compares to, and in some cases, beats the best and most expensive of them. I love the accuracy of the putting, but the icing on the cake is the instant replay of the ball strike.
The unit itself is very sturdy and looks great too. One can tell that a lot of thought went into the design. The quality control during manufacturing is top notch. I can’t wait to get it up and running.
Unfortunately that will have to wait a bit. There was a little mishap in the sim room yesterday, and I will be rebuilding it for the next 2 or 3 months. Thankfully the box with the ProTee hadn’t moved from the living room since it was delivered, and coincidentally my kid had taken my golf clubs yesterday to get re-gripped as an early Christmas gift. So I’m only out an enclosure, screen, projector, some turf with a hitting insert, a couple of speakers, a TV, and some drywall. If the ProTee VX had been priced like how it performs, which is comparable to the top of the line units, I couldn’t afford to replace everything that was lost.
