How does the Spica 3 work with a retractable enclosure?
The Spica 3 is floor-mounted, so the workflow here is slightly different from overhead monitors. When the Vanish retracts, the Spica 3 packs into its carrying backpack — so both systems fully disappear when not in use. Deployment takes under 10 minutes total: drop the screen, take out the Spica 3, place it to the side of your hitting position, connect, and play.

Do I need special golf balls?
No. The Spica 3 tracks any golf ball — including plain white range balls — with no special markings required.

Are club stickers required?
Club stickers are required to capture club data (club speed, path, attack angle, smash factor) and are included in the box. All 23 ball and trajectory data points work without stickers.

Is there a subscription fee?

Hand crank vs. remote control — which should I choose?
If you have a 110V outlet at the mounting location, the remote is more convenient — especially with Alexa/Google Home integration. If power access is difficult, the hand crank is reliable and requires nothing but the included tool. Both retract in under 5 minutes.

Is a hitting mat included?
No. The Vanish enclosure does not include a hitting mat. We recommend the SIGPRO Softy 4'×7' for this setup — compact, easy to slide aside when retracting. Contact us to add one.

Does it support left-handed golfers?
