Hitting Mat Options

Select your hitting surface at checkout. Because the ProTee VX is ceiling-mounted, any mat option works without clearance concerns for a floor unit. The SIG12's 12'2" width accommodates the full mat lineup including the 4' × 10' double-sided option.

Projector Options

A projector is not required to use the ProTee VX — you can run ProTee Labs on a standard monitor or TV. To take full advantage of the SIG12's 14'3" diagonal screen, a short-throw projector is strongly recommended. At this screen size, the difference between 1080p and 4K is most visible — a 4K projector is worth serious consideration.

Assembly

ProTee VX Installation:

1. Mount the ceiling plate at the appropriate position above and in front of the hitting area
2. Attach the ProTee VX unit to the mounting plate
3. Run the Cat6 cable from the unit to your PC (USB to Ethernet adapter included)
4. Connect power cord to a standard outlet
5. Install ProTee Labs software and run the calibration process using the included calibration board
6. Mount swing cameras at desired positions
7. Start hitting

Does the ProTee VX require club stickers or special balls?
No. The ProTee VX uses A.I.-powered markerless tracking with any standard golf ball. No stickers, no marked balls, no proprietary equipment needed. For best spin tracking results, balls with bold logos or alignment lines (such as Titleist Pro V1 or TaylorMade Pix) are recommended.

What ceiling height does the SIG12 require?

Does the SIG12 produce full-screen projection?
Yes. The SIG12's 4:3 aspect ratio fills 100% of the projected image from a standard projector — no letterboxing, no black bars. The 14'3" diagonal screen is the largest in the SIG Series.

Is a 4K projector worth it for the SIG12?
Yes — more so than with any other SIG enclosure. At 14'3" diagonal, the increased pixel density of 4K is visible and meaningful. The AK700ST or LK936ST are both strong matches for this screen size.

Can left- and right-handed players both use this setup?
Yes — two ways. The ProTee VX handles left/right switching automatically with no recalibration. The SIG12 also fits the 4'×10' double-sided mat for true alternating tee positions at mat level.
